1. WHAT TYPE OF RESORT IS CANTO DEL SOL?
Canto del Sol is designed for families, friends, groups, couples and singles seeking a full-service     resort. It is NOT a ‘mega-resort’, but a low-rise, beachfront property with a dedicated staff that retains the traditional feel of Puerto Vallarta. Guests can be active and entertained, or choose to relax and enjoy the sun, food and spirits. 

2. IS THERE A KIDS' POOL?
Children will be safe and have fun in our kids' pool which is adjacent to the adult pool. 

3. WHAT ARE THE RATES FOR CHILDREN?
6 years of age and younger: room and meals are FREE.
7-12 years: room with meals are $20/child/day    

4. ARE DRINKS ONLY INCLUDED WITH MEALS?
Canto del Sol is a totally ALL-INCLUSIVE resort, which means that there are
no additional charges, at any time, for domestic alcohol, cocktails, juices and soft drinks.
There is, however, a surcharge for premium and international brands.
Bar service is available from      10:00 AM --12:00 Midnight.

5. WHAT BRANDS OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE INCLUDED?       
TEQUILA: Jimador, Cabrito, Cuervo Especial
BRANDY: Presidente, Don Pedro, Napoleon
VODKA: Absolut, Blue Ice, Smirnoff, Wyborrova
WHISKEY: Clansman, Johnny Walker, Etiqueta Roja, Passport    

6. IS THE FOOD AT THE SNACK BARS INCLUDED?Yes, along with all-you-can-eat buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner and at the specialty restaurants .

7. WHAT ARE THE DRESS CODES FOR THE RESTAURANTS?
The main restaurant is casual and comfortable: Men are required to wear shorts and shoes, and women must wear shoes and a cover-up over swimsuits.

8. IS ROOM SERVICE AVAILABLE?
 No.    

9. IS THERE LAUNDRY SERVICE?
Yes, at additional cost. 

10. IS THERE INTERNET SERVICE?
Most definitely! All rooms have Internet access, and laptops with wireless access are available for rent.   

11. HOW IS THE FOOD?      
The food is GREAT, and the best things are the options and variety. There are three distinctly themed restaurants and a snack bar with seasonal, regional and international choices.   

12. IS THERE A SPA OR HEALTH CLUB?       
Canto del Sol does not have a designated Spa, but massages and facials are available at very reasonable prices. Guests may also take advantage of the fully equipped Gym and Steam Room.
